Discuss This Service

Find the exposure. Understand the impact.

A well-scoped penetration test examines how weaknesses could combine to affect your business. We define objectives, boundaries, and rules of engagement before any testing begins.

01

External network testing

Evaluate agreed internet-facing systems and the paths an outside attacker could attempt to exploit.

02

Internal network testing

Assess agreed internal attack paths, access boundaries, and the potential impact of a compromised account or device.

03

Web application assessments

Application testing is considered after a technical scope review. Coverage depends on the application, authorization, and confirmed delivery capabilities.

04

Controlled execution

Written authorization, approved targets, testing windows, escalation contacts, and stop conditions guide the engagement.

05

Risk-based reporting

Findings connect technical evidence to business impact, with prioritized recommendations for remediation.

06

Retesting options

Agree a follow-up scope to validate fixes and identify any remaining exposure.

What to expect

Deliverables with
a purpose.

Final deliverables and engagement boundaries are set out in your agreed scope.

  • Agreed scope and rules of engagement
  • Executive summary and technical findings
  • Prioritized remediation recommendations
  • Optional retest report

A useful distinction

How is this different from a vulnerability assessment?

A vulnerability assessment identifies and prioritizes potential weaknesses. A penetration test goes further by attempting to validate exploitable paths within an explicitly authorized scope. Both are useful; the right choice depends on your objectives and readiness.
